This character, not actually seen in person until the third Septimus Heap book - although mentioned before this, was the wife of the message rat Stanley.
This female rat is, apparently, something of a glutton, being described as round. It is also to be noticed that she was the dominating force in over Stanley, while the two were married. She is also, apparently, easily offended, frequently she is referred to as staying with her sister - whenever Stanley has done something to annoy her.
By the fourth Septimus Heap book, she and Stanley have - apparently - separated - Stanley apparently under the impression has something to prove to her.
It is, perhaps, for the best that she and Stanley separated; when he appears in Pathfinder, Stanley claims he loves his children more than he ever loved Dawnie.
